BETFREE Research & Insights
We will only publish BETFREE statistics when they come from real collected data with clear methodology.
What we may study
Voluntary, non-identifying responses about common triggers, urge intensity, timing and which self-help actions people report as useful.
Privacy first
Interactive tools should collect the minimum data needed. Trigger Tracker currently stores entries locally in the user’s browser rather than sending those entries to BETFREE.
No invented numbers
We will not turn assumptions, AI output or anecdotal observations into statistics. Future reports should state sample size, collection period, limitations and methodology.
Future report standards
Any future BETFREE report should identify the collection period, sample size, exact question wording, whether responses were voluntary, how duplicate or incomplete responses were handled, and the limits of what the sample can represent.
Fields worth measuring — only when appropriate
Potential non-identifying fields include trigger category, whether the moment followed a loss or win, payday timing, urge strength bands, access-route category and which immediate self-help action the user chose. BETFREE should avoid collecting names, account numbers, exact gambling-account details or other information that is not necessary for the research purpose.
